                                                      Chapter 10 - The (short chapter omfudge) hand

    You and Cass hit it off. She found you funny, pretty, and best of all, smart. Whilst you were looking at a nearby tv, watching a football team possibly score a touchdown, Cass elbowed Hiro and winked at him. "You got a real nice catch." She wispered, and winked again. Everyone heard this but you, and they laughed. Hiro just blushed, and when you looked back, mouthing "What's so funny?" He just looked away, and looked back, fighting back his blush. He just gave you a (cute) toothy grin. Finally, Cass decided to hang behind the counter. You swore she flashed Hiro a thumbs up; you were sure-fire. "Anyway... What're we doing?" You said, eating another pastry. 'These are SOOO good...' You grinned, happily. What luck you had; making new friends (and love interest) as soon as you move in to San Fransokyo. "Today, we're going to the MALL!" Honey spazzed. You squealed; you've never really been to a fancy mall before. You've just been to a commoners market. That, you just told everyone. "But your clothes are SO fancy!" Wasabi complained. Everyone nodded, with an affirmative "Mm-hmm." You blushed, and clasped your hands together. "What're we waiting for? Let's go!" With that, you all walked to the mall. On the way there, you all talked about things like soccer, Ashi (but that quickly changed, you were disturbed), but with the subject of Ashi brought up romance. At the mention of the word, every team member pretty much looked at you and Hiro. When you also looked at him, oblivious of the team's actions, he looked at the ground blushing. "What're we looking at?" You asked, as Honey (again) winked at GoGo. GoGo got on Hiro's right, Honey on your left, and squeeeezed you two together. Your (and his) eyes widened. His warm orbs looked (into your soul) at you, and you blushed and mouthed 'It's fine'. You both chuckled, and his hand (accidently?) brushed with yours. You silently panicked, and you weaved your hand with his. You both blushed and awkwardly smiled. Rapidly, the other team members exchanged words, smirks, and giggles. You heard them say something like "almost canon!" or something. All you could really think of at the moment was 'OMG,OMG,OMG,OMG,OMG, I'M HOLDING HANDS WITH HIM!' you smiled, and looked at the ground. Your face was pretty much on fire( THIS GIRL IS ON FIYAAAAAAAH). Finally, you were at the mall.

Christmas themed EVERYTHING blasted into your face. Giant statues of Nutcrackers littered the main entrance, with plush snowmen spread on the counter of every mini-mart. You gazed around in wonder. It was nothing like you've ever seen, but it was amazing.. Your eyes glazed over all the shops, getting lost in this beautiful wonder of a 'mall'. Hiro saw your eyes, rapidly darting from stand to stand, shop to shop. Alas, he let go of your hand. It (seemed) like you didn't notice (but you did. Your hand felt empty once air took place of where his hand once was.). "Well, where should we go first?" You asked.

I'm so sorry this chapter is SO short. I remember a month ago I called 400 words 'long'. I WAS WRONG ;A; I think I'm going to stop updating EVERY day... I'm super busy now. I can't say why, it's personal, but whatever. Ciao... -Critique A La Mode
